Before making a claim

If you’ve had an incident involving your vehicle, we’re sorry to hear that. This form is the quickest way to start a claim if:

  • It’s a Private Car policy (policy starts with 002x)
  • You have your policy number ready
  • Your vehicle is safe to drive and you’re not in urgent need of roadside help
  • You’re the policyholder, a named driver, or NFU Mutual staff
  • It’s a single-vehicle incident 

If your claim involves any of the following, please give us a quick call so we can help right away:

  • Collision where you have the third party details
  • Collision with a pedestrian or cyclist
  • Theft or Fire
  • Glass damage only
  • Damage to someone else’s property
