Our showroom was flooded and half a million pounds worth of stock was at risk, but we could not have been in better hands. We know that the floodings had caused business casualties elsewhere and must have impacted their other clients in the area, but we were never made to feel that we were waiting in a queue. The service was first class. It was all the proof, if we needed it, that we had made the right decision in choosing NFU Mutual as our insurance provider.
“Our showroom is relatively rural and surrounded by fields, which does make us vulnerable to flooding. But following the event, Jon was able to put us in touch with a specialist in this area at NFU Mutual who then worked with us to put measures in place to help stop it from happening again. It’s a prevention-rather-than-cure attitude and we haven’t had another similar situation since.
“Although we haven’t wanted or needed to look elsewhere for our insurance, we never feel taken for granted. The personal service was and is second to none. We now use the agency for our home insurance and our second business, a café in the local area.
